Dear KONCAB Members,
Greetings from KONCAB President, Secretary and the Executive Committee!
As we have entered the Silver Jubilee year of KONCAB’s fruitful existence, it is indeed a proud moment for all of its members. What was started as a humble group by a few like minded Mangaloreans, is today a colorful and strong Association in Bangalore with the selfless efforts of all the past Executive Committees.
With the financial year 2015-16 already closed, it is time for our next Annual General Body meeting. Please see the KONCAB AGM notice attached below. In this Silver Jubilee year, we want to make the AGM more participative and more purposeful. Please make it convenient to attend and take active part in the AGM on Sunday, 19th Jun 2016 from 3.30pm onwards. We will start with a Thanksgiving Konkani Mass at 3.30pm in the Holy Ghost Church, Davis Road, followed by high tea and the AGM in the adjacent Holy Ghost Parish Hall.
Apart from the AGM agenda, we also have Excellence awards for the meritorious wards of our members and Felicitation of ex-committee members, a short cultural program by Bindaas groupfollowed by dinner.
Like every year, we will be introducing the new members who joined KONCAB in last one year, during the AGM event. We hereby invite the new members specially, to join the AGM. Please come prepared to introduce yourselves (Name, Occupation, Native place, Current Residence etc).
KONCAB has arranged Coffee/Tea/Snacks and Dinner for the members. Please do come in large numbers and take active part in the whole program.

The Managing Committee of KONCAB, in its meeting held on 6th April 2016, has decided to hold the Annual General Body meeting of the Association on Sunday, June 19 2016 at 5.30 pm at Holy Ghost Parish Hall, Davis Road, Bangalore 560084.
Notice is hereby given that the 24th Annual General Body Meeting of the Association will be held at Holy Ghost Parish Hall, Davis Road, Bangalore 560084 at 5.30 pm on Sunday, June 19 2016 to transact the following business as per the agenda given below.
Program: 3:30 pm – Thanksgiving Holy Mass in Konkani
4:45 pm – High Tea
5:30 pm – Annual General Body Meeting
– Excellence Awards to meritorious wards of the members
– Felicitation of Ex-Committee Members
– Cultural Programme
8:30 pm – Dinner
AGM AGENDA
- To Approve the Secretary’s Report for the year 2015-16
2. To Approve the Audited Accounts for the year ended on March 31, 2016
- To appoint Auditor for the year 2016-17 and fix his remuneration.
- Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.
